Manouche Moustache was a cathartic project in response to U.S. immigration policies. We convinced our audiences that we were illegal immigrants from France that settled in Nebraska. We crafted mediocre French accents and would improvise satirical commentary in between playing songs of the gypsy jazz repertoire.
